It is easy to say that you want to travel but harder to do. And this is not because of the budget aspects, as these are easily fixed. Because of the pandemic, we continue being in and that for many, and I have to admit, us included, makes travelling a ban or a stressful thing.
And if travelling should be fun, should be about relaxing, quality time, family time, if it becomes stressful there is no point in going anywhere.
However, 2022 seems to be quite a good year to travel as many people learned to live with the social distancing rules and this is actually quite a good thing. Sincerely, maybe this pandemic did bring some good things with it.
Leaving it aside, I say for those that feel the need to spend some quality moments with the family and get away from the everyday rush, a holiday is the perfect answer.

If you still don’t find yourself fully confident to travel this year or want to save some extra money, just opt for a family staycation.
This is an excellent opportunity to bond with your family, do things together, increase creativity, make your house your holiday getaway, have movies nights, trips to various locations in the town, park getaways and dinner with friends, no cooking and dishwashing in your family staycation. Let the kids play, enjoy family time, and contribute ideas on what to do. You may be surprised by their imagination and need for spending time as a family.
